Comcast Fail

I was trying to set up my online account for Comcast internet. I had all of my information entered. Submitted and got an error that said the phone number didnt match what was on my account!
Please call 1800-comcast to get the phone number that is attached to your account.
1st thing i hear from the automated teller.
Please enter your phone number that is registered with your account.
FAIL!
Sorry for the frustrating experience. This should be easy to fix. I work for Comcast and I will be happy to assist. I will also assist with the online account set up. Please free to contact me if you are interested in my assistance.

I should have continued further with the story. But its resolved, I just had to punch through about 10 steps to eventually talk to somebody. They added my current number to my account.
Would be nice to have the option to enter your account # on the phone instead of the phone number if you don’t have that #
